I painted this picture of a fun and lively girl in a garden. She is carrying a beautiful basket of roses and enjoying the sunshine! Please message me here for rates if you are interested in a portrait of you or your child or family :)

When I was taking the photograph (yes I take all of my own pictures before converting them into paintings) I was thinking of her being a living representation of Belle from Beauty and the Beast.  This was one of my favorite movies growing up and it still is!  I do not think her relationship with the beast was the healthiest though, but we do not need to go into the details.  What I did want to capture was the beauty of the day, her flowing curls, and the lovely blue dress with apron.  The botanicals are a nice touch too!  What girl doesn't love being surrounded by flowers and greenery?
